Home2 Suites by Hilton Madison Huntsville Airport

The room was spacious. The only thing was it smelled bad as soon as we opened the door. I went down to the front desk to ask for some room deodorizer, but all they had was a can of lysol. I purchased some febreez & we left that room smelling brand new. They need to do better because when you have a long day of flights and driving, no one want to come into something so unwelcoming. At one point, the gym smelled way better than that room. I'm so glad I bought the febreez spray. Aside from this, the location is great.

Nice place, but there are definitely some opportunities in their maintenance department and housekeeping. My room was never attended to for the 4 days I was there, and it smelled bad when I checked in. The shower floor looked dirty. The retainer for the window shade adjuster was torn off of the wall. The toilet seat was about to fall off. The lamp by the couch was broken at the base and fell over a few times. One of the wheels was broken on the rolling table. The hardware was hanging out of the bathroom door lock and cut my arm. The thermostat on the wall doesn't actually do anything. Not sure what was up with the sing drain, but it was taken apart and just laying there. The chair in the room was covered in stains. Oh, and the top hinge on the entry door is pulled out and you have to fight the door to close it right.... These were just things I noticed on checking in. I travel for work so I always take photos at check in for liability reasons.

Room is great but thin walls and can hear people outside room in hallway and at night people in other rooms also

Amazing place, great staff. Breakfast Selection is very sparse. Wifi was not good many times.

This is a phenomenal hotel- especially for an extended stay. Close to the airport and only 15 mins from Huntsville. My room was serviced every other day and always clean for over a month. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Bar at the hotel next door that is open later and you get a discount for staying at this hotel.

Very easy to check in and rooms were nice! Was convenient to get to from the airport. The store in lobby was nice and convenient too! Only reason to dock a star was because when showering in the morning the body wash and shampoo was completely empty. So made it hard to get clean, the bottles were empty and not checked by staff. I mentioned it nicely to the front desk at check out and all she said was “okay.” No apology or care at all

First time staying at the Home2 suites and one of the biggest issues I had was the front desk. Long wait times with no one at the desk. Also the lack of facility maintenance was disappointing, the bathroom drop was a pocket door the did not close all the way. It would hit the mounting screws halfway before closing and bounce back and all the trash cans outside were over flowing. It's the small things that make a big difference.

Hotel was nice. The room was layed out very nicely. Comfortable beds. I did not like the sliding bathroom door lock it was awkward, and if you didn't lock the door it slowly opened. Breakfast options were very limited especially if lactose intolerant.
